Lots of studies have been conducted on the relationship between extracurricular activities and academic performance and they all show that students who participate in them have higher grades, more positive attitude towards college and higher academic aspirations.

 

Under the effective leadership by the principal Dr. Kuldeep Dubey, The Commerce department had organized the extracurricular activity called “Minute to win” in which the every task the students have participated is to be finished in a minute. It’s a game by which students are tested in utilizing their aptitude, timing, sharpness and accuracy filled with more fun and enthusiasm.

 

Students are largely participated and gained by the very aim of inculcating the habit of right decision at the right time. ‘Balloon burst’, ‘Toothpick and coins’, ‘vocabulary power’ and ‘blindfolded target’ are some of the games. The response of the students was overwhelming.

 

Mr. Vaibhav shrivastava, the Head of the Department lead from the front by directing the event and anchoring some of the games. Mrs. Neetu Gupta, Senior faculty had executed the program along with co-anchors Ms. Vidhi chhabra and    Ms. Ragini Lakra who conducted the event successfully. All the other senior staff members were also present at the occasion. The activity ended with the distribution of small gifts to the winners as an encouragement by the H.O.D, Mr. Vaibhav Shrivastava.
